Coronavirus In Brazil : Travel guidelines

Entry restrictions:

Foreigners can enter Brazil by air. This is subject to regular entry requirements.

Brazil has suspended flights from the United Kingdom and South Africa. Brazilian citizens and spouses, companions, children, parents or guardians of a Brazilian national and travelers with a permanent residence permit issued by Brazil who, in the last 14 days, have been or have been on the United Kingdom or South Africa are allowed to enter or transit through Brazil.

Currently foreigners are allowed to stay for up to 90 days.

Entry requirements:

Travelers must present a medical certificate with a negative RT-PCR test, issued up to 72 hours before departure. Children under 2 years old and children under 12 traveling with an adult (s) with negative proof in the test are exempted from presenting the test result.

Travelers and crew must complete a Traveler’s Health Declaration Form within 72 hours of departure and present it on arrival.

Quarantine requirements:

Brazilian citizens and their spouses, partners, children, parents or guardians of a Brazilian national and travelers with a permanent residence permit issued by Brazil who have been or have transited through South Africa or the United Kingdom in the last 14 days are subject to quarantine by 14 days.

The airline’s crew is quarantined at a hotel until the next flight.

Traffic rules:

Travelers can move freely, as long as they do not leave the international airport area and have a ticket to continue their journey.
