Buggy Trip from Natal to Fortaleza

Natal – Fortaleza Buggy offroad Expeditions

Magnificent beaches, ochre and red cliffs, coconut forests, small villages that have remained out of time or impressive dunes parade before your eyes in turn during each day.
You travel in small groups of 4 to 12 people, taking over the controls of your buggy and escorted by your local bilingual guide, who opens the « track » for you and takes care of all the stewardship.

Day 01:

Arrival Natal

Day 02:

Natal / São Miguel do Gostoso

Depart after breakfast with air-conditioned 4×4 vehicle following in direction to São Miguel do Gostoso. After crossing the bridge over the Rio Potengi. We will encounter a landscape of dunes and beaches including the famous towns of Jenipabu and Pitangui. Remind you that for a municipal law access to these dunes is granted only to vehicles authorized by the government. Then we will continu to Praia de Barra de Maxaranguape. The nearest point of the African continent. In Maracajaú depending on the tide, you can make a boat excursion to dive among the coral reefs of the duration of 2 hours (excursion made and paid on site in agreement with the tides). We will continue along the beaches of Rio do Fogo and Perobas and know the « Farol de Touros », the greatest lighthouse in Latin America. São Miguel do Gostoso / Galinhos

Galinhos / Canoa Quebrada

The 4×4 adventure begins immediately after breakfast, we will take the ” Estrada do Oleo” , where you can see various oil wells and « Salina Diamante Branco », One of the major points of extraction of salt from all over Brazil.

we will also cross the « desert do Alagamar ». A region that is flooded during certain periods of the year and that slowly dries up to become a real desert.

At the end we are following a last stretch of about 140 km of paved road, forced path because along these beaches you will encounter various salt deposits and areas covered with mangroves which impede the passage of our car.
The journey continue passing through the village of Rosado famous for its soft sands of the pink color, will continue to the villages of São Cristovão and Redonda, a location it covered by dunes.
